What to do in San Francisco

Growing up in California and having a sister who lives in San Fran, I have found some of my favorite things to do are:

Obviously the Golden Gate Bridge

Whether it’s driving, walking over it, or even going to a lookout; seeing the bridge is a must.

-Beach lookout: Baker Beach. 1770 Gibson Rd, San Francisco

-Hilltop lookout: Battery Spencer. Conzelman Rd, Sausalito, CA 94965

Taking a trolley

The trolleys are a cute and fun way to see the city without walking.

Getting sourdough and clam chowder at Fisherman’s Wharf

San Francisco is known for their sourdough; I especially like getting the ones in animal shapes and pairing them with clam chowder.

Going to a Giant’s game

I have great memories of attending their baseball games, getting delicious food, and enjoying the sea-breezed weather.

Seeing the painted ladies and the Full House house

I used to be obsessed with the show Full House, so seeing the house shown on TV was exciting! The iconic painted ladies are right next to a park where you can relax and take in the view.

China Town and Japan Town

From the great food, the rich history and the kind people; visiting these parts of town are always worthwhile.

Going to the Opera House

They host operas, shows, and musicals. When my sister and I were younger, our parents took us to see Phantom of the Opera here! It’s a memorable way to end your evening.

Coit Tower

If it’s open, you can see the most gorgeous view wrapping around the whole city. You have to be willing to walk up quite a few stairs, but it is absolutely worth it!

I hope you enjoy your trip! Email me or comment below your favorite things to do in San Francisco, maybe I’ll have to try something new next time I go.
